Knowledge Hub of Living Labs
One of the key ambitions of FutureFoodS is to build a European network of Living Labs that stimulates collaboration, shares working methods and generates new ideas for the transition towards sustainable food systems. More than 30 FutureFoodS partners are joining forces to develop this network as the foundation for a European Food Systems Knowledge Hub.
Living Labs are real-life environments where researchers, businesses, policymakers and citizens work together to co-create, test and demonstrate innovative solutions. Within FutureFoodS, the Living Labs provide a regionally embedded ecosystem for exploring transition pathways towards more sustainable, healthy and inclusive food systems, in line with the European FOOD 2030 priorities.
The FutureFoodS Knowledge Hub will connect these experiences and stakeholders across Europe. It will facilitate knowledge exchange, capacity building and collaboration, enabling Living Labs to learn from each other and successful approaches to travel across regions. Study visits, demonstrations and mutual learning activities will further strengthen this European community and accelerate food systems transformation.
